The family is like a little church. Using that model, we can see the responsibilities of the people within a family correspond to the responsibilities of people within a church. If this is the case, then we must treat the people within our families as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Because of this, if we are trying to see what are the responsibilities of the people (husband, wife, children) within a family, we can not avoid the verses in the Bible which speak about personal character and personal responsibitlities, love, relationships, etc. Our familiy is our first ministry. Because of that, we should treat our familiy members with love and humility – instead as if they are not important.
