How many times have we led someone to make a profession of faith by saying a prayer and then convinced people that they are saved? Jesus didnt say to say a prayer, He said “follow me.” He called people to die.
I think we inoculate people against the gospel with a dead gospel of easy believism, and they fail to respond to the true gospel which requires us to die.
