Behavior of the Couple (positive) 7/15

This is the seventh part in a series about marriage.  


  

Be imitators of God as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved (Ephesians 5:1-2)

Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) (Ephesians 5:8-9)

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them  (Ephesians 5:11)

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16). 

Do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is (Ephesians 5:17)

Be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18)

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19)

Always give thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20)

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21)

Accept one another (Romans 15:7)

Love one another (John 13:34-35; Romans 13:8; 1 Peter 1:22; 1 John 3:11).

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love (Romans 12:10).

Give preference to one another in honor (Romans 12:10).

Live in peace with one another (Romans 12:16; 1 Peter 3:8).

Be  hospitable to one another without grumbling (1 Peter 4:9).

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:2-3; 1 Peter 5:5).

Submit to one another through reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21; Philippians 2:3).

Forgive one another (Colossians 3:13).

Teach and admonish one another with wisdom (Colossians 3:16).

Encourage, edify, and exhort one another daily (1 Thessalonians 5:11; Hebrews 3:13; Colossians 3:16)

Consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24)

Do good to all (Galatians 6:7-10)
