Do all that God gives to Christ come to faith in Christ?

There is a question for some people about whether you have the ability to refuse to come to faith in Christ if God has chosen to give you faith.

First, we must realize that no one can be with God UNLESS they go through the Son.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Second, realize that NO ONE can come to God in any way EXCEPT through Christ, and ONLY if God has granted permission.

John 6:44

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 6:65

And He was saying, “For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father.”

Third, realize that if God gives someone to Christ, they WILL come to Christ.

John 6:37

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.

Fourth, faith is a gift from God.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God

Fifth, CHRIST authored and perfects our faith.

Hebrews 12:2

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God

Not only that, but once given to Christ, we will have eternal life and not perish and can not be removed from God’s hand.

John 10:27-29

27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

No one can come to God without God first giving us the faith. No one God gives to Christ will fail to be lifted up by Christ.
