Chronological Bible Reading 1 Chronicles 6

26 April 2020, Chronological Bible Reading, 1 Chronicles 6.

My wife, Lori, and I are reading through the Bible in chronological order, which is the order in which the events happened. Her blog on this can be found here. This is not intended to be a lesson or a sermon. It is my thoughts and notes as I read through the text and as I sometimes look things up. Today we read 1 Chronicles 6.

1 Chronicles 6

This chapter is the genealogy of Levi, the priestly line. Aaron, Moses, and Miriam were all of this line. Jehoazak went with Judah and Jerusalem into exile by Nebuchadnezzar. We saw those David had appointed over the service of song in the house of the Lord, after the ark rested there, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. We also saw Samuel. Then we saw the settlements given to the house of Levi, including the cities of refuge with their pasture lands.
